Macro

Here is the macro shot I was talking about. Isn't that starfish the cutest little thing? We almost couldn't see it because of the angle when we were looking into the tank. My daughter is the one who saw it. I like the way the seahorses are out of focus in the background. I wish the color was a bit more crisp, but it was hard to get a shot without a reflection on it.

By the way, seahorses are mesmerizing. I could watch them for hours.

What a pretty little star. Not like the twinklers in the sky that are not little at all, though pretty from afar. What? Am I babbling? Sorry.

Seahorses. Yeah, interesting creatures. It would have to be a miniature saddle if you wanted to ride one of them. But then who is small enough to fit on such a tiny saddle? It is doubtful that these horses could support the full weight of a person anyway...

Babbling again? Right. Sorry.

I like it! I think it is fascinating the way they cling to the glass. I think aquariums are fun to watch whatever is in them.

Hope you and your family are doing well. I really hope it is cooler there than it is here. Of course on that side of the globe I guess it is the more winter season.

Craver- you crack me up. Babble on.

Mike- It's pretty hot here. We're in the throws up summer. The weather here is a lot like Florida. Hot and humid. Luckily, we have some tropical depressions around, so the rain is cooling things down a bit. Australia is in the throws of winter. :) I always get that mixed up, too.

Have a good one, guys!

Ok I need to bone up on my geography. I was thinking southern hemisphere sorry.

Then you do know how hot it is....

Beautiful starfish! Underwater shots are hard. Underwater shots through glass are nearly impossible. So good job!

You know, Craver, reading what you wrote about saddling a seahorse somehow reminded me of the movie Tall Tales, Pecos Bill riding the tornado (in this case a cyclone?), and the phrase that I used to keep my boys from spitting: "Respect the land, defend the defenseless, and never spit in front of women and children." How's that for babbling?

I think you're right on track, my friend. But do you know what? I cannot recall having seen that movie. I better hop to it before my kids are all grown.

That movie is a must-see. Patrick Swayze is Pecos Bill, but don't let that deter you. It also has Paul Bunyan and John Henry. Paul Bunyan is hilarious. Enjoy!
